What causes cellulite (and sometimes even loose skin / droopy bottom) after BBL / brazilian butt lift?
BBL normally makes skin taught, due to the addition of fat on the buttocks.
However, sometimes the combination of too much fat and too loose skin immediately results in a droopy bottom, as gravity pulls and skin is not strong enough to maintain a round lifted shape. And in almost all cases of BBL this combination (extra volume, weak skin) results to some degree of droopiness within 1-3 years after surgery.
Furthermore, cellulite is still there - BBL does nothing to reduce cellulite. Sometimes cellulite looks a bit better because skin becomes very taut but that tautness wears off quite quickly (usually within 1-3 years skin laxity ensues, things start looking south and cellulite becomes more and more visible. And in many cases, no matter how much fat filling tightens the skin, cellulite is still visible from the beginning.
