What does my client need for cellulite reduction? Radiofrequency, ultrasound or both? And if both, at what portions?

What does my client need for cellulite reduction? Radiofrequency, ultrasound or both? And if both, at what portions?
Deep-acting, high-power radiofrequency and deep-acting, high-power ultrasound cavitation are the strongest SAFE technologies for cellulite reduction (far more effective and safe than the overhyped and dangerous HIFU and RF microneedling.)
So, just by making available to your clients both a strong, deep RF technology and strong, deep ultrasound technology you can already help your clients more than any other clinic/therapist that use lesser technologies.
Even one of these technologies can help a lot better than, say AWT, bipolar RF, low power cavitation or HIFU…
Cellulite treatment customised according to anatomy, physiology and each client’s needs
However, each specific case comes with a set of problems, requirements and different tissue types that would benefit more from ultrasound cavitation, radiofrequency or a mix of those techniques:
cellulite type (deep vs superficial, hard vs soft etc)
cellulite severity
connective tissue fibrosis
skin sensitivity
skin laxity
subcutaneous tissue depth
surface area to be treated
previous surgeries or invasive procedures
connective tissue damage
blood circulation
connective tissue thickness
client aims and aspirations
treatment duration allocation
number of treatments to be given
and more…
Cellulite treatment customised according to equipment specifications
Then come the technical parameters of the equipment you are using:
RF frequency
RF maximum power
ultrasound frequency
ultrasound maximum power
superficial cooling (or absence thereof)
type of RF: monopolar vs bipolar
type of RF: capacitive vs resistive
and more…
Yes, even going randomly or going by instinct one can produce a great result for some clients from time to time.
However, this approach disadvantages the other clients who did not get results with the random/instinct treatment - and consequently the clinic’s success rate and customer satisfaction.
Learn how to provide RF/cavitation treatment to your cellulite clients, properly
So it would be good to have a set of rational, science-based rules on when to use one technology, when to use the other and when to use a specific mix of both, depending on the needs of each individual client.
And this is what we teach at The Cellulite School.
